Privacy Policy
Effective June 9, 2026 · Updated August 4, 2026 · Das Energi 2026 companion app, operated by MASV Music Group ("MASV", "we")
This policy explains what the Das Energi 2026 companion app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: the app works without an account, your GPS position never leaves your phone, your saved sets stay on your device unless you sign in (in which case they sync to your account so they follow you across devices), and you can delete your account in the app at any time.
What we collect
- Account information. If you create an account: your email address, a password, and optionally your name and mobile number. A mobile number is never required. We only text you if you tick the SMS box at sign-up or in your Account settings, and we keep a record of that consent. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only as a salted hash, so the password you choose is never visible to us. If you ask our team to reset your account, an administrator can generate a temporary password and send it to your email address; you are asked to change it the next time you sign in.
- Saved sets and preferences. While you are signed out, these are stored only in your browser or device storage and are not uploaded. If you sign in, your saved sets are synced to your account so they are available on every device you use. They are removed when you delete your account, and the local copy is removed if you clear your browsing data or remove the app.
- How you found us. If you arrive through a tagged link, we store the referral and campaign tags from that link (for example ref, utm_source, utm_campaign) alongside your signup so we can understand which of our links people came from.
- Location. The festival map can show your position using your device GPS. Your position is computed entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to us or stored anywhere.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics in both the web and app versions to understand how the app is used, for example which screens are opened and which features are popular. This is measurement for our own product decisions and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Advertising measurement. The web version of the app uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the TikTok Pixel to measure how our festival advertising performs and to show relevant ads to people who have visited. When active, these may share limited event data (such as pages viewed, a sign-up, or a ticket-link click, along with your IP address and a browser identifier) with Meta and TikTok. The native mobile app build includes neither pixel and does no ad tracking. You can limit this through your browser and device ad settings and through Meta's and TikTok's own ad-preference controls. Our hosting providers also keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To operate sign-in and keep your profile available across devices.
- To send service emails, such as email confirmation and password reset.
- To send festival updates and announcements if you have an account. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the service secure and reliable.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the app:
- Supabase - authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel - web hosting and delivery.
- Resend - delivery of service emails.
- Meta and TikTok - advertising measurement on the web version only, when the pixels are active.
Tickets are sold by official ticketing vendors on their own websites under their own terms and privacy policies. We never receive your payment details. We do not sell your personal information. When the web pixels are active we share limited advertising event data with Meta and TikTok, which may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws. To opt out, decline advertising cookies in your browser or device settings, or email info@masvmusic.com and we will honor your request.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and profile at any time inside the app: open Account, then tap Delete account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also request deletion by emailing info@masvmusic.com.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, and database access is restricted so that each account can only read and change its own data.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@masvmusic.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, and we will honor valid requests.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and revise the effective date above.
